本節目係一時事訪談節目，由主持人吳瑞國教授，訪問台灣產官學界各界菁英，針對台灣多樣化的政策與議題，進行深入的分析與探討，或藉由某些重要人士的特殊經驗，勾勒出台灣個別產業的概況。此外，國際社會的現況與台灣在國際社會中扮演的角色，也是本節目的討論重點。
本節目希望透過生動的訪談內容，以及重量級來賓的特殊經驗與看法，一方面具體呈現台灣社會多元豐富的意見與觀點，一方面積極映照出台灣在國際社會的處境，讓海外僑胞對台灣現況有更深入的瞭解與認識。

Comparing and contrasting, analyzing and commenting, TAIWAN OUTLOOK, a weekly talk show in English launched by Taiwan Macroview TV and hosted by Dr.Wu Ray-kuo, seeks to further explore the implications and latent meanings of those policies as well as hot issues through in-depth interviews with high-profile guests. It is intended to provide an opportunity to spotlight a variety of issues related to Taiwan society and the various political, economic, social, cultural as well as environmental dynamics that help to shape it.
