來自加勒比海島國多米尼克的屏東科技大學熱帶農業暨國際合作系主任Albert Linton Charles邱亞伯，是第一位在台灣得到博士學位、又做到國立大學系主任的外國人。台灣與多米尼克斷交那天，邱亞伯很震撼，但沒有動搖他在台灣追逐農業的夢想，他也以自己的經驗，鼓勵有志農業科技的人，台灣不但是最好的選擇，更是處處充滿機會的土地。

As a native of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Dr. Albert Linton Charles has obtained his PhD in Taiwan. He is currently the chairman and Associate Professor of the Department of Tropical Agriculture and International Cooperation at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. On the edition of Taiwan Outlook, Dr. Charles shares his unique studying and working experiences in Taiwan.
