The 3rd Taiwan International Children's TV & Film Festival Competition Nominees

The 3rd TICTFF competition received over 365 entries from around 41 countries. 25 nomination titles have been selected for the first heat out. We sincerely congratulate the nominated films and we also appreciated for the efforts in all applications who participated in the 3rd TICTFF competition.

The nominated films will be screened during the Festival. The Awarding Ceremony will be held in Taipei on April, 8th 2008. The nominated films are:

Kids as Directors Enters NOW

Aimed to bring a happy learning experience to filmmaking for the children, Kids as Directors, a workshop activity from Taiwan International Children's TV and Film Festival or TICTFF since 2003, is now open for entry.

Submission starts April 1st and ends May 31st, 2007. This workshop, scheduled to be held between July 12 and July 14 this year, encourages all children who are interested in learning more about filmmaking, can team-up to submit their project ideas to create themselves this opportunity to be trained as Directors, to make their very first film.

10 projects shall be singled out among entries. And all the winning projects will be assisted production resources by Public Television Service (organizer of TICTFF) when the filmmaking begins. All these 10 films created and made by the kids, will also have their debut opportunity being presented during the festival's screenings.
