The WITBN Associate Members are:
1. Indigenous broadcasters that identify with the purpose of WITBN, have a mandate to promote and revitalize the indigenous language(s) and culture(s) and are not commercial organizations focused on profit maximization; or
2. Public broadcasters that have a mandate to promote and revitalize the indigenous
language(s) and culture(s) and are not commercial organizations focused on profit
maximization; or
3. Non-indigenous broadcasters, indigenous or non-indigenous production companies, news agencies, academic institutions, or other organizations associated with indigenous broadcasting that identify with the purpose of WITBN and are willing to assist WITBN in fulfilling the purpose and main aim.
Founded in July 2003, Hakka TV is the voice of Hakka people in Taiwan and abroad. The station's award-winning programs provide an in-depth look at Hakka culture with programs ranging from dramas, kids and youth shows, lifestyle features to news and current affairs all in Hakka. Hakka TV created a stronger public profile after joining Taiwan Broadcasting System (TBS) in Jan. 2007.
Located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean, Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC) was established in Honolulu as a national non-profit media arts corporation in 1991. PIC's mission is to support, advance, and develop Pacific Island media content and talent to create a deeper understanding of Pacific Island history, culture and contemporary challenges. In keeping with its mission, PIC provides funding support for productions, training, education, broadcast and community outreach to help Pacific Islander stories reach national audiences.
Established in May 2006, Australia's Carbon Media Events Pty Ltd. (Carbon) is Queensland's only privately owned Aboriginal content creator. Carbon's primary objective is to optimise utilisation of its unique content by multi-media broadcasters, advertisers, Internet service providers, telecommunication companies and other emerging media platforms. Carbon is a one-stop hub for design, execution, and delivery across all media platforms hard as well as digital.
